the flute. Hyper's Kidney Hole gundrill®
(patent #3,606,560) allows up to 50% greater coolant volume
(gpm) to flow through the tip orifice than with a standard round
hole gundrill. This not only aids in the evacuation of chips, it can
result in improved finish and penetration rates. Oil pressure can be
lowered while the volume is increased, resulting in lower oil
temperatures. |
